Norman Hyde Collection & Thomson Motorcycle Museum visit.
Depart Caltex Waipukurau at 9.00 am and a stop at Caltex Woodville on the way, meeting up at the Feilding Hotel 11.00 am. – 14th November 2026. From the Feilding Hotel, we’ll split into two groups, with each group heading to one of the collections. Approximately 1½ hours meeting back at Murray’s Irish Bar Feilding for lunch. After lunch, the groups will swap over and visit the second collection.
Norman Hyde’s Collection. Recognised as a premier collection of pre-Hinckley English motorcycles, especially Triumphs. including many rare examples most of us have only ever seen in magazines. Entry: Free. We’d like to make a group donation, so we’ll pass the helmet around at the meeting point. There is a strict No – Photo and No Video policy, please respect this.
Thomson Motorcycle Museum. Rongotea Road, about a 20-minute ride from central Feilding, the museum has more than 100 motorcycles on display. Entry: $10.00. No EFTPOS is available, so please bring cash. Photos and videos: Allowed.
Not a member of TOMCC NZ ? You are more than welcome to ride along and in the spirit of the day. if you own a running pre-1990 English bike, we’d love to see you arrive on it, but it’s certainly not essential.
