For those coming to the Canterbury Area Whitebait Run this year, an organised ride will be leaving on Friday 24 from the Pegg Hotel (Belfast), be there by 0930, leaving 0945.
This years ride is a little different and a little earlier than normal (it is usually in November CHCH Show weekend).
We will be riding in reverse this year, heading north from the Pegg Hotel, first stop at Hanmer Springs, through the Lewis Pass to Reefton, then Berlins, then through the Buller Gorge to our destination Westport.
The change is due to the fact that the Greymouth Street Racing is on on the Sunday, and many of us are choosing to head back down to this on the way home, then through Arthurs Pass.
If you are not joining the group ride, make your own way there. Some may choose to meet up with the group at the stop points of Hanmer Springs, Reefton or Berlins. Everyone else we will see you in The Quarry bar on the main street of Westport.
