Otago Southland Chapter of TOMCC NZ invites all members to a sleepover in a garage full of bikes at a local member’s home in Oamaru. You will need to bring your own bedding, mattress, airbed, camp stretcher, or whatever is suitable for sleeping on a concrete garage floor.But hey, how often do you get the opportunity to sleep amid a collection of two wheeled treasures !!!
For those of you who feel that this is just a step too far in roughing it, there is a set of indoor bunks, and a double bed for those who are bringing a partner. Also a few minutes walk away is the Oamaru Top 10 Motor Camp for which you will need to make your own booking. Evening meal will be a barbecue for which you will need to bring your own food, you will also need to bring your own drinks, although tea and coffee will be available. I suggest that for the Sunday morning breakfast we sample one of Oamaru’s many delightful cafes.A group will be leaving Dunedin at 2pm on Saturday 26 April,
riding the back roads to Oamaru.
