Ride – Depart BP Cambridge at 10 am (Victoria Rd, opp the church) and head for Matamata, looking to arrive at the Village Bakery & Cafe, 55/57 Firth St about 10:40, we will take a break and if anyone needs coffee go for it.
If you live in Matamata or the surrounding area and not on the run you can come down and say hello.
Depart about 20 minutes later and ride over the Kaimi Range to BayRide in Tauriko, arriving about 11:45 and have a good look around.
About 1/2 an hour or so later it’s off to the cafe at 414 Pyes Pa Rd for lunch, probably be there an hour, again if not on the run you can drop in and say hello.
Waihi Beach is the next stop, for a drink, ice cream or whatever and then off to Waihi for a refreshment stop.
Those heading west through Paeroa and on to Hamilton or other places, we’ll leave when ready.
Note, you can join or leave the run at any time and dont be shy if you live on BoP come and see us even if you’re not riding.
The weather is looking good at this stage.
