TOMCC NZ Poker Run

The Wanganui chapter of TOMCC NZ organised a ride to coincide with the first annual national TOMCC Poker Run on Sat 17 October. The ride was planned to cover basically the same distances, with stops at the same times and for the same periods as the Auckland event. Five riders – Tim, Mike, Murray, Alastair and Westy attended the event, with Andy participating from his sick bed. We also managed to link up with two other local riders (Robbie and Steph) for the last leg. Forecast bad weather almost completely failed to materialise, and a good hand of poker DID completely fail to materialise. But the ride was great and the venues at each stop worked out very well. We’ll do it again next year. Thanks to Glenn Mills in Auckland for organising it!
